Hokkaido Ramen SANTOUKA + Mochi Sweets

Today totally wasn't my day, alternate off day and i get sick. Kept sneezing and coughing, just because i didn't bring along umbrella when heading back home. A little tiny drop kill my weekend. Not bad, that's great time to blogging right? *ha qi ha qi*

Fetch young master after work and he brought me out for dinner. Its normal working weekday but quite pack at level 6, pavilion. Ya, he gonna try the Hokkaido Ramen and I read lots of good review from food bloggers. there was a long queue and I'm not willing to queue for food, young master become valet and i walked around until our turn. I didn't bring along Red Dot Dot *again*, so not much pictures ya~ Maybe gonna post the full review when Santouka serve the full dishes in menu.

Actually we didn't wait more than 10 mins, waitress is friendly and patient to inform every customer which dishes are available. Sure we go for ramen, right?

My Shio Char Siu Ramen - small portion, RM27.50.

*copy from Santouka's web* Shio ramen is the signature ramen which is mild and creamy soup seasoned with salt. Shio ramen is the only ramen that is topped off with a japanese pickled plum.

Young master's Miso Char Siu Ramen - small portion, RM27.50 and Komi-tamago, RM2.00.

*copy from Santouka's web* Miso Ramen soup is made from a mixture of pork broth and a rich and hearty miso paste.

I love that, nom nom. I haven't been to Japan before but saw few Japanese were dinning inside there, em, maybe that's the local taste? Let's go Japan see whether it's same, okay?*lol* Young master said that's the saltiest ramen he had ever tried. Ha ha ha. Total RM71.50 is cost a bomb for me, food nice, service good but the price isn't that friendly.

Before we pay our dinner bill, young master's eagle eyes kept staring at the Mochi shop. He want to make his wallet hole deeper!!!! And i know he want to try it just because of i did mentioned to him before, thank you my dear. *kiss*

We bought supper back home too!! Teehee.

Ya, greedy me. Actually young master go for the half dozen package but inside didn't have my favor. Luckily it can keep for 3 days in fridge.

From the left of the top to bottom. Peach cream, Strawberry, Sakura, Mango yoghurt, Blueberry cream, Caramel macchiato, Red bean, Chestnut cream, Green tea, Yam, Cream chocolate and Black chocolate. (last one look like empty, because it's really BLACK in color *winks*).

Sakura is the best!!! Young master recommend, green tea, strawberry, chestnut cream and yam. Little Jenny go for her all time favor, mango yoghurt. 32 said black chocolate isn't that good if compared with he dark chocolate bar. Anyway, which is our favor? *drooling*

That's all for today, gonna have dinner with family soon. Too sad i can't head out for movie later, haiz, let make it another day. Wish to get well soon. *cross fingers*

7th Anniversary @ Cafe Stelle By Raffles & Angus Steak House

June is the lovely month, my birthday and the anniversary, i can demand / order young master as my slave for whole month. :p I still can't believe that i date with the same guy for 7 years, ha ha, anyway, yes, we did it and will walk to the end. :)

We plan to having dinner at Fukuya, the authentic Japanese cuisine but didn't make it. Young master had to work OT that night, he was bit frustrated that disappointed me. He called me for supper before he heading back home, i said i want DA BAO spicy chicken mcdeluxe. AND...... He gave me the SURPRISE...


Home made strawberry cheesecake by his colleague (which is study pastry at France). The lovely cake is so yummy, even though my picky sis also fall in love with it. The best strawberry cheesecake!! Sweet and sour strawberry (do you notice how many strawberry on the cake?), represent our 7th anniversary. ♥ Or i misunderstand the meaning? :')

Had a high tea at Cafe Stelle By Raffles before the movie (toy story 3). Hmmmm, i didn't write about movie for long time right? ="=

Bun. You guys notice the hard top of the bun? I think is homemade and the skin is so crispy.


Potato soup that creamy enough. ♥ Sweet vege, carrot, onion, and potato, simple and delicious.

♥, Overall is a good dish, the the abalone smell really stingy when the waiter put on the table.


No so fresh salad. Maybe we were too late to take the dinner, almost 9.30pm and both of us just start our meal.

Super juicy.


I love raw steak, medium cook is so tender. Love the see those blood spew out when i cut the steak, mixing with the sauce and the taste is so sweet. :)


Chocolate mousse. The dessert is surprisingly good. :) Not too sweet and the i love the taste when mixing it with white and dark chocolate syrup.

Lastly, here is my present. I'm not wishing to receive a luxury present, since the Red Dot Dot already gave young master QUITE A LOT of pressure. We gonna marry soon, a lot of things already out of budget. :p And the main reasons is, after i did a statistic for our financial credit, i found out I'm the one who is ALWAYS out of control. XD Sorry small cloud (young master new name XD), i still learning to change my bad behavior.

Itinerary For 13 June 2010 - Episode Two

Super tired with the 2 hours duration, i slept on the bus. :')

5.30pm- Reached Sogo (太平洋) @ FuXing (复兴)


OMG!! Scaring puffy eye after woke up. *scream*


Searching restaurant for our dinner. Actually i want to try the DingTaiFung (鼎泰丰) at lower ground, but young master said we didn't have enough time to spend and wait for hours for the soup dumplings (小笼包). Em, i just don't think the taste will be same as the franchises at Malaysia. :(

6.00pm- Dinner.

We ordered set dinner, so it came with a bowl of daily soup, salad and garlic bread. Soup is creamy enough, i ♥.


Young master's braised beef rice (he ordered the deep fried pork set but the waiter served this to him, and we forgot what we order until we finished it). Never mind, it's taste super good for me, creamy sauce, juicy beef cube, truffle fried rice!!!

Fresh and sweet lala (I think the taiwan lala is fatter than malaysia!!) with a lot of basil!! I hate basil!! I hate basil!!! I hate it after back from Taiwan, almost all the seafood cooked by basil!! Argh!!! So i figured out a solution to get rip off this basil smell.... i exchanged it with young master's super nice beef rice :p He didn't mind at all because he is always want to try new dishes.

Young master is reading newspaper while waiting the driver fetch us to airport, leaving Taipei soon.


And i just camwhole. Wearing spec before heading to airport, it's healthier for the eyeballs and make me easy to fall asleep on the plane!!

The driver is so nice and friendly, we talk a lot along the way to airport. He knows a lot about the cultures and places in Malaysia too, because he got lots of customer from Malaysia.

9.00pm- Reached airport.

The most WTF things in my life!!!


AirAsia gave us TWD 180 meal voucher for the plane delayed. What? Delayed 4 hours and 15 minutes just cost me RM18+-! WTF! They just simply paid me RM4.50+- per hour! WTF! Cheaper than junior promoter in supermarket! HELLO! Cheap air fare doesn't mean cheap airlines la!


I decided to stay at burger king for 6 hours!!! Argh!!!


Supper!! I ordered Mushroom Swiss and young master had Fried Chicken (i stole 1 piece of chicken from him because i was hungry when i stay awake!).

We watched World Cup at the lobby after the meals, some of the passengers slept on the chair and most of them were complaining Air Asia. I'm wondering, who else like to take Air Asia flight if it is not cheap (price of cause).

3.05am- Check in!!!


Super long queue. Look like everyone also in a bad temper mode. :p


We just sit aside and camwhole again. :)

It's 6am. Beautiful cloud and sunrise. The only good things about the delayed flight :)

9.35am- Breakfast time.


McDonald breakfast and fall asleep for whole day!!

As a conclusion, the ONLY thing that always stay beside us is THE FAST FOOD!!! Felt hungry during midnight in Taiwan, MOS Burger! Captured in Taiwan airport, Burger King! Don't know what to eat when we were tired n hungry, McDonald!
