The TAO Bali

Found out that i missed out this important dinner after reviewed the photo album.
Young master made reservation online again. *LOL* He said the restaurant is just opposite the hotel, sure I'll love it. Ya, feel so tired and suffered after a long day from queueing at the immigration for 1 hours. Although i wish to dine at Ku De Ta...... but its really really far.

Really surprised when we get the seat, that is the only table that full of flowers and decoration. Young master told them is our honeymoon, people keep wishing us a happy marriage, and enjoy the dinner. Services is pretty good!! Nice ambience, sea view and good services, what else can you ask for?

We can even hear the waves and smell the sea, its so comfortable with soft wind blow thru.

*Tired face* Unhappy because can't find any WIFI, can't live without Internet.

Young master's Balinese Tea. He assumed Balinese don't like strong tea after he tasted it.

Mine Watermelon Mojito! Young master is not going to take any alcohol, so no one sharing with me. This is really really good!! Mojito at Bali is superb!

After 15 minutes read thru the heavy menu, we go for silk set menu, Rp 195,000 per person.

A big basket of appetizers.
Pandan Chicken, marinated chicken thigh wrapped in pandan leaves accompanied with sweet ginger and sesame sauce.
Mixed Spring Roll, mixed crispy of shrimp, chicken and vegetable spring roll with sweet sour chili sauce.
Martabak, stuffed pastry with minced chicken, crab meat and vegetables wrapped in egg pancake served with mayonnaise and pickled vegetables.
Glass Noodles Salad, refreshing clear glass noodles, shrimps, squid, onion and tomato in chili lime dressing.

Yup, the taste is quite familiar with Malaysian style. It's a mixed pot of flavor from ASEAN countries.

Ton Kha Chicken, delightful soup of chicken and mushroom in coconut milk soup flavored with lemongrass, galangal and exotic herbs.
It's spicy but i still can finish it. I love this creamy spicy soup more than Tom Yam soup. *drool*

Stir fried baby spring beans with homemade oyster sauce. Young Master still think chinese restaurant do better.

Crispy Grouper with Three Flavored Sauce. Or in Malay called "ikan tiga rasa", is a common dish in Malay restaurant i think. Luckily the fish is not so big, young master's stomach still can handle it.

Black Pepper beef. Tasted good and tender but too much of onions.

Green Curry Chicken. Not as spicy as what we can get in Malaysia, which one is the authentic way of cooking it? Spicy or creamy?

A large plate of Organic Jasmine rice. Maybe the rice mixed with other ingredients, young master always felt like the rice was undercooked.

Banana Fritter, traditional crispy banana with a scoop of ice cream. The dessert is super yummy, young master finish it all although he keep complain it is too sweet for him.

Sorry for the blur and redness pics, I tried my best to adjust the brightness but it still look like this. Maybe the white balance does matter? I used flash to capture it when we dinning, *LOL* it come out even worst.

Lot of foods review that feel like sharing with you all. Stay tunes.
Okay, that's all for today. *kiss*
