Rest Detail Hotel @ HuaHin - Pool Village

Young master always work hard when searching for hotel. He did a comparing chart for me in pdf file about AsaraVilla, Rest Detail & Devasom but i DELETED from my macbook. *lol* I go for Rest Detail because it look more fresh / clean compare to another two antique hotel.

The guys who fetch us from airport with big van. Of course that the hotel charges for the transportation fees. Always smile, always friendly.
The view from the entrance. The entrance is located at an open area, there's no wall  around it.  Towards the end of it is the restaurant and followed by a sea view swimming pool.
The reception counter.
They're so helpful to help us arrange our schedule and intro few places for visiting, although they thought that we're are Thai. They kept on speaking Siam to young Master, but he only know 1 word... *sawadekap*
Travel with my orange luggage again. She's tough and lightweight, and she will definitely join my next few trips. *winks*

Playing my phone while waiting for check in. *searching Foursquare*
Love the refreshing sour plum juice and the cold towel.

Golf cart that deliver us to our room. Love this service because our room is quite far from the reception.

Let's talk about the hotel room.
We stay at Pool Village for 2 nights, and too bad that it's not available for the last night because there had private wedding party. We pay extra for Rest Horizon. *lol* Will talk about it for next post.

Pool Village.
Big comfort bed is a MUST. I do had sweet dream every night. They provided there different kinds of pillow for you, soft feather, firm latex and hard cutie, just name it.
Bath tub is a MUST. I used it twice a day. They provided two kinds of bath salt too, and they will refill every time i finished it.  *Teehee*

A corner that we hug with our books. *brush*

Welcome fruit with the iPod speaker that we didn't used. Young Master's phone only load up with tons of Dubstep and rocks songs which can easily spoil my holiday mood.
TV that entertained young master with a lot of advertisement. He spent quite some times to watch those local TVC although he don't understand what they said, think he just want to observe the latest trend in Thailand.
The view beside the bed. We have our own private deck that lead us to a super nice pool.
The weather on the first day isn't that good for swimming, so I'm jump into the hot bath tub with my book once we arrived. I did swim for twice per day onwards, had a great exercise. *hehe*

The beach. Our room is just beside the beach, such a nice way to start my holiday when  the wave keeps hitting the beach and the breeze keeps blowing at your face.

Samsung Galaxy Note 11 in PINK color

Short but HOT post.

Young master bought me Samsung Galaxy Note II!! *shout out loud and jump around* Im a happy girl right now because the casing is PINK in color.
Actually its so difficult to use if compare to iPhone, so many things to configure. I'm not that familiar with android phone. Now i know why Young Master bought Windows Phone, super easy to conquer.

I got this devil 1 days before it officially launch, they don't even have a show unit yet. By the time that sales person shown me this little devil that hiding in their store, I'm feel like crazy when he told me I'm the first PINK note II owner in KL (really ah???!!!). So the answer is: *ka Ching* Swap young master's credit card, burn another hole in his wallet.

Okay, is time to learn again. *Tee Hee*

Berjaya Air Fly To HuaHin

Okay, is time to start my HuaHin trip.

Our last 2012 trip is planned by young master, he let me choose either Phuket, KohSamoi or HuaHin. I preferred HuaHin because the city is near to Bangkok so i can visit my friend. Too bad i can't take a long leave so we just can stick to the short trip. The second reason we fly to HuaHin because Berjaya Air is flying to there directly from Subang Airport from 18th November 2012. How convenience is that? I'm not sure there is another way to reach HuaHin faster than us. *smile*

1. The ticket. A bit old school feel, using dot matrix printer to print out the ticket. Berjaya Air define themselves as Getaway Airlines, maybe that's why they don't do neither self print ticket like budget airlines nor proper hard-card ticket like premium airlines. Anyway, those tickets will go into my souvenirs box as part of my memories.

2. Spot my small plane. It's Fokker that same as FireFlyz. At first, we went to a domestic departure hall to wait for our flight, then Young Master spotted all the boarding gates show domestic destination only. Luckily the international departure hall just next door, don't have to go through the security checkpoint again.

3. Boarding time. There's is only 1 entrance with this plane, and it's on the back of the plane! I'm so Kampung right?

4. The cabin. Although is a small plane, but inside is really comfortable. Nice seat, nice smell and nice ambience. And i think the legroom is bigger than AirAsia too.

5. Small LED TV. We watched Madagascar while heading to HuaHin. "I like it move it move... MOVE IT", what a nice way to start our lovely getaway. *smile*

6. Whole plane only have 6 passengers. The DATUK that sit most front, a family and us. Maybe the route is still new and not much people know about it, so we are kind of OWNED the whole plane. Those stewardess are very friendly too, talk to us during the flight and served us quite well. But i think the situation will be different if have more passengers hope in. Then Young Master start bitching already, said their BATIK uniform is so outdated. "Aiyah, none of your business lah."

7. Our breakfast box have chicken ham sandwich, chocolate muffin, curry puff, Kit Kat and peanut. And they served juice and coffee too, the good thing is all included the airfare.

8. This is the first time i can lay down and read my book inside the plane. Too bad is the book that i brought along too difficult to understand, still left it in the bookshelf until now. *dizzy head*

Jarrod & Rawlins @ Ampwalk

Here the new restaurant that wanna intro, miss my foodie blog right. *roll my big eyes*

Young master said, let's try new French restaurant that nearby Victoria Station (jalan ampang branches) after you work. Ha, anyway, we can't find out the location. He dropped by Jarrod & Rawlins because i thought this is the restaurant that he mentioned.

We are the only couple who dine in, and few foreigners are drinking beer outside the smoking area. The air conditional is super freeze but i still prefer sitting inside because there have a big display with a lot of sausages variety and cheese! Didn't took much pictures, iPhone 4 didn't take great pic in this ambiance.

Hey, the menu for breakfast / brunch is super interesting too!! Might find a weekend morning to try it out.

Purveyors Of Fine Food & Wine. I google the meaning for purveyors awhile when young master is reading the menu.

Hildon Sparking Mineral Water, rm9.00. Its smoother than others brand and the bubbles are softer too.
And young master ordered Ice Coffee, rm9.50.

Assorted Cut Sausages, rm18.00.

I'm still remember that the menu described 4 different kinds of sausage but i can only taste 3. The English mustard is a MUST. Those 3 sausages are lamb, pork and pepper pork. Be careful of the pepper pork sausage, you can feel the heat when you pop it into your mouth. And the lamb sausage taste good too, the flavor lingering inside my mouth for awhile.

Linguini Carbonara, rm28.00.

I wish to change the pasta to spaghetti but the waiter suggest us stick to linguini...... the chef not willing to changed the menu. I know linguini is matching well with carbonara creamy sauces but i love the feeling when I'm chewing the al dente spaghetti. *disappointed faceThis carbonara is a bit different from what i had in other restaurant, the chef chopped the bacon into very fine and fried until crisp.

Prime Rib Eye 200gm, rm58.00.

First, the side dishes is super nice. Creamy butter mashed potatoes and fresh grilled vegetables. Yum, both are my favorite. Secondly, we order medium rare for the steak and it's come out with pretty good pink color inside. Just one thing that i don't like about this steak, it's juicy but i can't taste the BEEF in the bite. Why? Is it because of too fresh? Or because of the way of chef's cook? I dunno....
