New Star Seafood Restaurant @ ShenZhen

En, this travel post will be a bit different from those previous because it isn't interesting & kinda boring too. Foodie always make me smile widely, how about sharing you guys those restaurant i'd visit at China? *winks*

We meet up with the hotel manager again, while me and young master check in. (Eh, I'm forgot i haven't finish the Travel - Macao and Hong Kong and China yet, so you guys won't know the detail!! Okay, i know him when the first time we stay in *last year, he is so friendly after peeping my passport. Yup, he is Malaysian too.) He recommended the New Star Seafood Restaurant that located at 3rd floor of this hotel. We didn't have other choices due to mama's STARVATION because not having breakfast before departure. Ya, she can't stand hungry. *hug*

Here we are,

Super tired face with the cracker body that suffered 4 hours flight, ouch, what a nightmare.

The menu that full with chinese description, nice. *smile*

Papa & Jenny can't stand that not having ice cube with chinese tea, two poor little things that hunger for cold beverage. China culture 1 - no ice cube served.

Roasted pigeon.
I just had a small drumstick, its a bit dry and chewy. This is the first time young master tried roasted pigeon... cantonese style. Maybe this is not taste good enough, he still think that Puyuh Goreng is better.

Did you heard before that saying China man used mice to replaced pigeon? Na na na, they put the chick head as a prove.

Chicken feet with ground nuts.
Yum, the texture are good although didn't taste heavy like malaysia. How come China have so many fat chicken feet? Young master think that dim sum in malaysia has been improvised in order to suit malaysian, he means saltier. *lol*

Pork belly with lotus.
Young master not really like it.... thick gravy n fat belly in early morning just feel not right.

Em, i had no idea what this dish call. Fried celery mix with chinese herbal? Ya, something like that. Its sweet and chunky. *heart*

Giant, juicy & chunky choi sim.
The vege that we almost eat everyday in China, its pretty tasty, plus its my favorite vegetable!!

Braised lamb chop.
Young master comment again, feel so wrong when he saw this dish. Clay-pot with lamb chop, don't think is AUTHENTIC cantonese dish!!

"KAI POH CHI", translate literally is chicken boil with shark fin.

Always heard this dish in Hong Kong movies,*smile* finally we have a chance to try it out. But the more you expect, the more you will be let down. NOT SO SPECIAL LOH, just chicken stock with shark fin.

If I'm not mistaken, the bills is around RMB600.00++ after discount. Don't you think that its super pricy?

My pretty boy. I keep asked him, did you changed your opinion/mind that love China? Because he swear that he wont travel to China, he get frustrated with their bad behavior. Anyway, I'm think he quite enjoy the trip but bored when i deal with those suppliers. Sorry, next trip gonna be you & me, ya, just both of us and hand hold hand. *kiss & sayang*
