korea 2.2

Finally, the last episode for day two. *yes, jumping around*
Stomach started thundering after the crazy shopping, it's dinner time.

Korean BBQ restaurant that just 15 minutes walking distance from our hotel. We decided to dine at the most crowded restaurant since we had not ideas which one is the best. This restaurant looks new and clean, other restaurants are a bit run down. Waiters are so friendly although didn't know how to speak English / Chinese, and they gave us an English menu too. *spot my tired face*

The special sauce for BBQ. I think is Korean soya sauce mixed with chopped onions and garlic. *drool*

The hero. Super hot charcoal!!! They will burn themselves to give us a warmth night. Kam Sa Mi Da.

Side dishes, as usual.
Korean Tofu and Kimchi. Nothing to say about Kimchi, feel numb to the taste already. The Korean Tofu is a bit firm, is like Tau Kuah (Hard Tofu) that we can get in Malaysia. But of course this taste better, because we are in holiday mood. *TeeHee*

Another type of Kimchi, this one is made from marinated radish.

Salad with spicy sauce, yummy. Those vege are so fresh and can't taste the bitterness, or is because of the holiday mood again?

Kimchi again, with bean sprout & spring onion. Young Master like this one very much, asked for refill more than 5 times.
Wow! Bean sprout soup. This soup is purely magical, it is so nice to drink it after putting lots of meat into your stomach.

Hmmm.... The hotplate is ready, but suddenly the waiter poured some Kimchi onto it. What!!! Kimchi again? We didn't order Kimchi hotplate!

The waiter just smiled to us and poured some kind of thick liquid onto it. Eh! What are they trying to do? Is it normal in Korean? What are we going to do with it?

But all questions has been answered within a minute. The thick liquid turned into yellow custard look and the delicious smelly is released from the hotplate. What a surprise! It's egg with seafood stock.

Yum Yum! Can't wait until the egg is nicely cook, everyone of us are so desperate to try it.

Oh No! What have young master done!? He spilled out the heavenly egg custard! The punishment is not allowed to eat the egg anymore.

If you want to eat Hot BBQ during cold night, make sure you order a cold Korean rice wine.

Felt a bit weird that the served rice wine with metal bowl. But we don't care because the wine is nice to drink, and the alcohol level is acceptable.

Beef slices!!! Go to BBQ must order Beef slices!!! If you ask me how good is it? I can tell you is just taste like normal beef, but it was go great to eat it during cold night.

Pork slices, another can't miss dish during BBQ. The layer and texture of those pork slices are so pretty, must be juicy and tender after we cook it.

My lovely pork, onto the hotplate please.

My friends still felt hungry after all those BBQ, so they ordered bibimbap. Hmmm... another weird thing happen, where is the rice?

Apparently they served the rice separately, we need to pour in the rice and mix it together. Normally bibimbap in Malaysia is served in hotpot, here is just a big metal bowl.

Mix! Mix! Mix! then, eat! eat! eat!

My friends ordered another dish (not me), cold ramen. I didn't try it out because my stomach is fully loaded already.

We found a shop that specialist in fried chicken which is recommended by my travel buddy. She said the restaurant spoke person is her idol, so i think why don't we give support to her idol?

The shop is called KyoChun 1991. Hope someone can tell me what does it mean in Korean. The ambience is nice, woody and warmth.

Young Master posing inside the shop since we have to wait for 15 minutes to get our fried chicken done.

The price... a bit expensive for few pieces of chicken. The fried chicken in Korean always come in 6 pieces even more, so lone ranger please stay away from it ya.

Back to our hotel room, we found out the shop gave us 5 chopsticks! Does it mean those fried chicken served 5 persons?

FOC marinated radish.... Whole room was full of marinated sourly smell once young master opened the seal. He took few pieces and throw it out, don't really like the taste.

After we watch some Korean TV (which i cannot understand) and a nice face mask, is time to enjoy our fried chicken.

The fried chicken skin is very crispy, and the meat is tender too. But i think i was spoiled by Malaysia style fried chicken already, still think our country have the best Ayam Goreng.

Thankiew for my handsome boy that finish whole blog post. *hug & kiss*
