Jaya Palace Restaurant @ Jalan Imbi

HSBC credit card center sent a RM100 voucher to my papa since we spent too much on Grand Palace Restaurant at Pavilion. Papa decided to invite his family members to enjoy dinner at their franchise again. Jaya Palace Restaurant at Jalan Imbi is our first choice.

Here is the menu. XD

Papa said he didn't take those set dinner, he ordered the dishes separately. So, that mean, more expensive!! RM1,410.00 per table. ="=

Table display like usual. :D

(四热荤) - Hot appetizer come with marinated small octopus, chicken cube with GONG POH style, tempura prawns and almond fish balls with cheese inside. I'm not really into it, nothing special for me. -.-

(红烧蟹皇金钱翅) - Shark fin soup with crab meats. Soup taste good and heavy, a lot of thick shark fins inside too!!! I finished it all!!

(烧焗排骨皇) - BBQ pork ribs. Everyone had one huge piece of ribs. It's not an ordinary Chinese CHAO SIEW ribs, the taste is nice and the meat is tender and juicy.

Yum Yum Yum!!

(清蒸自来鱼-斗底鲳) - Steamed Pomfret. My relatives are so picky about the freshness of the fish, so my papa purposely bought some grade A Pomfret from fish market. What can i say? It's totally fresh!!!!! :)

(姜片香脆炸田鸡) - Crispy fried edible frog with sliced ginger. Al-dente frog meat!! Even though this is a fried dish, the meat is still juicy and chewy. Best to serve with cold beer. The sliced ginger is tasty too, crispy like potato chips!!

(菠菜豆腐) - Tofu with spinach. I didn't eat this because I'm already full by the time. Young master said, the tofu is just so so and he not really like dish with thickened gravy.

(海味煲) - Seafood bonanza. Mushrooms, sea cucumber, abalone, clams and dried scallops!! Young master said, this is a high cholesterol killer, not really suitable for old citizen. But i love it all!!!!

(清炒香妃苗) - Stir fried bean sprout. I went to toilet when the dish is served, young master kept some for me. :D So, i didn't shoot the REAL dish. This is little bean sprout on small dish, not giant bean sprout :P Anyway, the vegetable always is my favorite.

(皇宫炒饭) - Palace's fried rice. Basically, is just fried rice with anchovies. Normal dish that my papa use to fill up those guests that still feel hungry. And i didn't try at at all!! ="=

And the last dish is fruit platter that i didn't take the picture. You know lah, what can you have in fruit platter right? Papaya, mango, apple, honey drew, water melon, orange......

The conclusion is, this restaurant is not good as the franchise in Pavilion. And i feel that it is really damm expensive and not worth!! :(
